Masquerade and theatrical costume dealers often sell a broad range of men's, women's, kids', and even pets' character costumes. Themes can range from pirates and princesses to monsters and Mardi Gras outfits. They can be funny, such as for a comic, or they can be scary, such as a mummy. A high-end theatrical and masquerade costume company may offer dresses and outfits for classical shows, operas, plays, balls, and theater performances. You'll find high-quality outfits here, usually at a higher price tag, than, say, at a cheap seasonal Halloween store selling kids' and adult costumes.
