When you visit a store, you will notice that products are displayed as attractively as possible to advertise their best selling point. Mannequins are draped in the latest clothing, the most popular toys take center stage in the toy department on end caps and food on sale at the grocery store features bright tags revealing the savings. All of these displays are deliberate, suggested by marketing experts, and carried out by store employees. The goal is to pull in as many customers as possible with attractive display supply fixtures and materials. Everything from acrylic stands and tables to glass cabinets can prominently display products like jewelry and beauty care items. Display fixtures and material dealers sell these and more items to retailers so that they may better showcase their offered products through boards and shelving. The use of lighting is also important, especially in the case of jewelry, as the right amount of lighting can really make diamonds and gold sparkle. Retailers can purchase bulk amounts of grids, shelf units, hangers and wall slats to aid them in setting up daily or weekly promotional spots. When retailers are opening a new store, they need lots of wooden brochure racks, counter top fixtures and shelving to display their materials. They often buy in bulk from wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers to achieve a discount. Retailers may need to purchase a few items here or there once established, as glass cases and cabinets may break over time. They may place smaller orders of cork board, plastic racks, signs and other supply items as needed.
