Flower Species to Consider When Ordering from a Wholesale Grower

You haven't fully planned your wedding until you've chosen the flowers. Since floral arrangements are a significant part of your wedding day, you can benefit from seeking out a grower or wholesale florist. You can even work with many online. This can cut out additional costs, and you'll also have more direct access to a wider variety of flowers beyond the traditional rose. Before you can make an informed decision about your wedding flowers, consider the following popular varieties and their costs.

  • Orchid - The orchid species is so vast that it's double the species of birds on the planet. They are a distinguished flower, easily recognized by minimal petals in a variety of colors and distinguished stamen. Some orchids can be quite affordable when bought in bulk, while others can be incredibly costly.

  • Peony - Peonies are a very large flower that grow on bushes. They are often called the pom-pom flower, because of their volume and size. These come in a variety of colors and can be more expensive depending on the time of year they're being purchased from the grower.
  • Silk - There's always the option of buying silk flowers online in any of these varieties. Silk flowers may be more expensive, but they are not as difficult to maintain for your event and will last a lifetime.
