Driving ranges offer both professional and amateur golfers a chance to practice their swing without actually having to play an entire game. Driving ranges are usually set on an extensive piece of land, equipped with several tees, distance markers, and nets. They can either be attached to a larger golf course, or can be set up independently. Depending on the part of the country that you are in, you may even be able to find some indoor ranges that can be used for training during the winter season. Many golf ranges and golf courses employ private trainers that offer instruction on your swing, tips on reducing the number of strokes before sinking the ball in the hole, and, for new players, how to practice hitting the ball long distances. For individuals who are not satisfied just sitting on the lawn hitting the ball, they can hire a golf cart and play an entire game.
