Inspection Bureaus
Inspection bureaus are an important facet of any government. They ensure the safety and care for the rest of society, providing reports on a regular basis to local and federal governments. They can also perform other forms of safety inspections, like fire safety, food safety, toy safety and vehicle safety, just to name a few. These groups routinely inspect many different areas, looking for problems, rule violations, as well as health and environmental violations. Many people look at these kinds of inspections as a nuisance and a hassle. Yet, the reality is that these inspections only exist because problems have arisen that have caused significant trouble in the past. Inspections can occur just about anywhere – in the home, at the office, in a business. Almost every public establishment or company has some agency or bureau watching over it. One of the most common inspections done pertains to building code – an important check to ensure public safety. This includes both residential and commercial zones. Inspectors are well-trained to analyze every situation, making sure buildings meet code and zoning requirements and regulations. They are taught to examine licenses to ensure they are current, which is important for restaurants and elevator operating permits. They seek to ensure that any license plates or tag permits are valid and accurate – failure to comply can result in fines and penalties – and in the construction world, complete demolition and re-building of the project from scratch. People view inspectors as cold and think they don't care – when in reality, without their help, the world would not be a safe place. More fires would occur, important reports would not be made, and the government would not be able to respond to issues properly with adequate funding.

An inspection bureau performs inspections on the government, health, fire, car, safety, housing, building and zoning. Such bureaus oversee construction projects, analyze safety code and regulation, make sure the rule is followed, and issue a report. Different inspection bureaus specialize in different areas. For example, one type of inspection bureau may perform vehicle and car inspections, issuing a tag on a license plate that is not in compliance with motor vehicle laws. Other inspection bureaus focus on health and safety codes, fire codes, marine zoning, commodity import and export, government regulation or permit regulation. Whether for business, company, office or home purposes, an inspection bureau or agency can help. Before people purchase a home or other building, they have to have it inspected by a licensed building inspector or inspection service. Homes that are in the building process also need to be routinely inspected to ensure everything is safe and up to code. You can find inspection bureaus by looking in the phone book or searching online directories. Choose a few inspection bureaus to start with and contact each one. Prepare a checklist beforehand of questions to ask, such specialty, rates, location, availability and establishment. Go online to get as much information on inspection bureaus as you can. You'll find that inspection services can be for residential, commercial or industrial purposes. Some inspection services are roof inspection services, auto inspection services, housing inspection services, or government inspection services in particular. Inspectors must have the proper license to perform inspections, subject to government regulation. They must also provide an official report after the inspection.
