Kennel and pet boarding facilities are available to help dog and cat owners care for their furry friends while they are away. Daycare is common for short term care, while boarding is for a longer period of time. Whether you are heading out on vacation or need the pet watched for a while, there are many boarding houses as well as hotels and training camps for canines and cats. Many of these resorts offer cage-free kennels, but all boarding facilities are different. Sitting for your pets takes quite a bit of work. At such resorts they often groom, walk, train and exercise your pet. Necessities should always be provided for, such food and water, as well as transportation – though puppy day care and other pet sitters may not offer taxi service to travel with your animal. You may require more information before allowing your dog to reside in someone’s house or kennel.
