Marriage Wall – The marriage wall is where different sections of a multi-section manufactured home connect. Marriage walls are inspected upon installation. Even minor damage to the marriage wall should be repaired immediately to prevent permanent harm to the structure’s frame.
Retrofit – This term refers to any construction that alters a manufactured home’s foundation. This maintenance may include alterations such as adding a tie-down or earthquake bracers. All upgrades must meet state and federal standards.
