  • Crossfader – This is a control found on a DJ mixer. It slides left to right in order to allow the DJ to change back and forth between two channels.   • Power Chord – A chord that consists of one powerful note. It is often used in rock songs or by heavy metal singers. Hardcore punk bands also use power chords, and often with some vocal distortion.
