Tip #1: Assess your physical fitness level.

Playing a game of basketball keeps you fit while participating in a team sport. Yoga classes build and strengthen muscles while relieving stress and clearing your mind. Choose an activity that speaks to you.

Tip #3: Be wary about signing gym contracts.
Getting into a gym is an excellent way to stay in shape, but be sure you choose a gym that cares about your physical fitness and not your bottom dollar. Gyms that force you to sign long contracts often care more about membership dues than flat-fee gyms, which encourage you to work out. Before signing a contract, visit the gym and get a feel for the membership. Ask yourself if you can picture working out here.
