  • Commercial – Commercial playgrounds are used in public areas such as schools. These sets must meet safety standards to be used in parks and schools.
  • Sand box – Sand boxes are pits filled with sand that youngsters play in using a variety of toys like trucks and tractors. Sand boxes are a great tool for teachings kids about the different senses including touch.

Cushioning mats are typically the most suggested but lesse expensive options include mulch or grass.

Playground equipment is fun for children and young people of all ages. Just about every daycare center and commercial park can boast a pretty sizable collection of playground equipment. You can also find a sandbox or a swing set in many backyards. Certain types of playground equipment have been popular in this country for generations, and they're likely to stay popular for years to come. Sandboxes and swing sets are well liked by just about everyone, and seesaws and monkey bars are also popular. Tubes and slides are popular as well. This equipment can be made to stay indoors or outdoors. It usually comes in wood or metal, and it can be made to exact specifications. It can be made, for instance, with soft and padded edges, designed to ensure the safety of all the children who use it. Some of this equipment is incredibly elaborate. A school jungle gym, for instance, is a large and complex piece of equipment, but some of it is just as simple as the most basic kid's toy. A sand box, for instance, is incredibly simple in design and creation, but can supply hours of fun for kids. Children tend to love just about every piece of playground equipment, regardless of how large or small it is, how complicated or simple it is. Playing on playground equipment is an integral part of growing up, and it's not likely to go away or become less popular at any point in the near future. So, if you think you'd like to purchase a piece of playground equipment, make a trip over to your local retail store to learn more!
