  • Check Valve - A type of valve that prevents backflow in the pipes and requires the water to run in only one direction.
  • Compression Valve - A type of valve that is controlled by the lowering or rising of a horizontal disk by a threaded stem. This is typically used for a faucet in your kitchen or bathroom.
  • Diaphragm - A membrane within the valve that regulates water flow. This fixture is intended to prevent the buildup of debris in the pipes.
  • Plumbers Putty - A type of putty that is used to seal joints between drains and fixtures.
  • Thermostatic Valve - A valve that is used for the shower in your bathroom to automatically control the temperature.
