Common Powder Coating Terms

  • Chrome Plating – Chrome plated metals have been covered in a thin layer of chromium to protect against corrosion, harden their surface, or to improve their appearance. Chrome plating is common on motorcycles, car rims, and vehicle parts. Chrome plated parts can be powder coated for additional protection.
