Parts like toilets, hinges, valves, coils, and switches may need to be replaced occasionally to keep the RV in working order. Here are some typical definitions you’ll need to know when it comes to recreational vehicle, camper, motorhome, and trailer repair and service.

  • Amp - Amp or, amphere, is the electric current unit of measurement. When at an RV site, the hookup will specify the maximum number of amps that is supported.
  • Awning – A sloping piece of canvas mounted over the door-side of an RV to provide protection from the sun and rain.
