Tennis instruction can begin when kids are able to swing a racket and follow instructions from a coach. As children continue to play and improve their game, they can go out for their school team or attend an academy. An academy will offer players instruction from a pro and lessons will be offered all year long.   • Love - In tennis, love means zero points. If a game is scored 30-love, it means that the player who is serving has scored two points and the opponent is scoreless.
  • Serve and Volley - Serve and volley is a style of play where the player who serves attacks the net in order to volley the return shot without letting it bounce.
  • Unforced Error - An unforced error is when a player loses a point because of their own poor judgment or bad play.
