Water Dealer Terminology
Drinking water is an important part of life and numerous types of water are available for those with different tastes and preferences. Dealers work as an intermediary who buys and sells water to retail locations or private residences. Individuals may have jugs of drinking water delivered to their homes. Dealers will sell gallons and bottles to grocery stores and other retail locations. Types of bottled water include mineral, spring and sparkling. Bottled water won't contain any of the minerals found in tap water, and it is also convenient to take with to work or the gym.
Distilled Water - Distilled water is turned into steam to get rid of any impurities in the liquid. Through condensation, it is then turned into pure water and free from any contamination.
Hard Water - Hard water features numerous elements and minerals, including iron and calcium. This water is found in rivers, lakes and reservoirs and is not safe to drink.
Sparkling Water - Sparkling water is carbonated water that offers a fizzing sensation when consumed.
Filtered Water - Water that passes through a fine strainer is called filter water. The strainer will prevent calcium and other substances from passing through.
Reverse Osmosis - Reverse osmosis is a water purification system that separates impurities from drinking water.
Soft Water - Soft water contains trace chemicals and minerals, but much of the bacteria and viruses have been removed.
Water Treatment - Water treatment is the process of making water safe to drink. While drinking water often receives treatment, facilities are also available that make bathing and toilet water suitable.
