Important Water Well Drilling and Service Terms

Water wells have been drilled all over the world to accommodate the needs of numerous communities, businesses, and industrial facilities with plumbing and water heating.   • Aquifer – An underground layer of gravel, earth, or porous stone. An aquifer yields water is various volumes or quantities. This water is often safer to use since it is hidden from many pollutants.
  • Dual Rotary Drilling – This is done by a rig with a lower rotary drive. This method often involves a drag bit, hammer, or rolling cone bit that penetrates rock and earth. A compressor is used to vacuum out debris and cuttings during the drilling process.
