Wolf Pups For Sale - Ready Now
On Thanksgiving day our 1/2 Great Pyrenees 1/2 Timber Wolf Shy (120 lbs)had 11 pups! They are really cute and super healthy. The dad is Little Bear he is 96% Timber Wolf and 4% German Shepherd (100 lbs) so the pups are approximately 73% Timber Wolf 25% Great Pyrenees and 2% German Shepherd.
We have papers for both parents. We are very excited about this litter, Shy's first, because if you know anything about wolves, they do not make good guard dogs. They are timid of people and don't really bark. Since Shy is 1/2 Great Pyrenees which were bred to protect livestock from wolves of all things, she is a great guard dog. When she comes in the house she runs thru every room to see who is there and then lays in front of the door so that she can guard who comes in.
Unlike normal Wolfdogs, these pups should be fine being the only dog. Our last litter of 98% Timber Wolf pups I refused to sell any pups to anyone who did not already have a dog because they are very high maintenance when they don't have a canine companion.
We will be selling these pups for between $650-$1100 depending on the pup. There are only 3 females and one is already sold. See pictures at www.bigwolves.com

| Wow... Since when did wolves and wolf hybrids ever have pups past the months of April and May? Hmm... Makes me wonder if these are the actual things. |

Joel is selling misrepresented wolfdogs. They are not the content he says they are, they are mostly dog. Don't get ripped off by this breeder. He is clueless about wolfdogs and will sell to anyone.
To learn about wolfhybrids go here: http://wolfhybrid.us
Im not selling pups, but I will give you a good education and facts.

Many of you have replied that you are interested but you did not leave your email address. Please email me instead of replying here.
To answer the question about wolves not having pups this time of year you are right because pure wolves dont go in heat at this time of year but as you can see the mother is HALF DOG so she came in heat like a dog would. |

Hi there!
I own a 20 year old grey wolf. He is all white and was imported from Canada by an abusive owner before the import laws took effect. I of course stepped in and rescued him. He was stolen from a wolf family and is the real thing. I am interested in wolf pups as he is going to pass away soon and leave a gaping hole in my heart. As you should know wolves are incredibly high maintenance and enjoy climbing fences using their dew claws to escape, go crazy and tear things up when you're not home, need a 50% meat/bone diet and will bite strangers out of fear. What I am wondering is why your dogs are great alone and you don't warn about destructive behavior. Are these pups the real thing? And why are you naming off percentages? As soon as a wolf is mixed with a dog the wolf hybrid's percentage cannot be determined. Especially a couple generations after dilution. I would only be willing to pay $1,000 for a pup that had parents and/or grandparents who were documented from some sort of wolf sanctuary as being 100% wolf. Looking forward to your response. |

| Re: Wolf Pups For Sale - Ready Now |
| After reading all the messages from supposed know it alls about wolfdogs I am confused to why people don't research before looking foolish. A wolfdog that is several generations from a pure wolf no matter what percentage can go into heat like a dog would. There are no guarantees as to what percent they will have it is a matter of random genetics. Some pups in a litter will be very wolf like in appearance and behavior. While others will be more dog like in both ways. I have wolfdogs and the pups always range in behavior and look. (some look like wolves and some like like more dog, while some act like wolves, timid, destructive and the like, and others are like a domesticated dog) I do NOT allow just anyone to adopt my pups. I require an application and don't approve everyone or just anyone. I try to educate people prior to allowing them to adopt one, encourage many visits with the puppies and parents prior to adoption, and give all adoptive "parents" tips and warnings about the breed. Agree or disagree with my choice of companion everyone is entitled to their opinion as I am and I firmly stand behind the fact that I wouldn't trade my wolfdogs for anything! They are my companions and their role in my house is to be part of our family. |

| There is no test available to detect amount of wolf in hybrids. In addition, you should not be breeding these animals and selling them online. Shame on you! I believe you are selling B.S. And I hope no one gives you a dime. |

| Do a search for pet classifieds and you should be able to find some by checking the ads. (you may even find some local for you) Be careful where you get one though. Make sure they are educated themselves about the breed. Be sure that they don't tell you how wonderful they are and only that. (they are wonderful, to the right person, but they are also not so wonderful at times, even to the right person) any responsible good breeder will tell you that. |
