| Hi! I am a hardworking and honest wife and step-mother. My husband is a teacher and I am in the airline industry. We both work full time and always pay our bills. The problem is that we are trying to buy a home of our own and need money for a down payment. After we pay our bills for the month we don't have much money left so this task is proving almost impossible. While my husband was in college we racked up quite a bit of debt and it is really hard to pay that off while paying all of our daily needs also.(ie: rent, food, gas, ect.....) We are not charity cases and do ok on our own even if we can not purchase a house, but our lives would be much easier and more enjoyable if we could. Our credit is not perfect so a lot of programs that would normally be available to help us aren't. As far as government help goes I don't know of any that is available to us since we have both graduated from highschool/college, don't have a drug problem, are not jobless, and don't have a ton of kids. Anyway, I am just wondering if there is anyone out there who would want to help this family find a home. Anything would help.
