| Our 8mo old german shepard puppy is absolutely wonderful with our family (including our 2yr old son) and there are NO issues with any type of aggression from her, we even put our hands in her dish while she is eating and we take things from her mouth with not so much as a sideways glare. Our issue is with people outside our family. She is just so skiddish with strangers, and will bark at them run towards them like she wants to attack the but then retreats. She is a big dog, and her bark is quite scary, and we have tried EVERYTHING to correct this behavior. What are we doing wrong? We really love her and she is now part of the family, however, we have alot of traffic in and out of our house because we have three kids. She has never bitten anyone, nor made any attempt to, just the aggressive barking. I would appreciate any input or suggestions. We are now thinking we may not be able to keep her. |
