| Whatever you do, don't order from www.realburtsbees.com. They took my money ($83.00) and never sent the items. They were rude and denied any knowledge of my order when I contacted them. They are also on a porn site using the same email address. They are located in Kansas City MO. I reported them to the local police, the FBI internet crimes, Yahoo, ebay, PayPal, and others. The official Burt's Bees site knows about them and is trying to shut them down. |

| Me,too. I paid the website "http://www.realburtsbees.com/index.html" USD1380, they told me that my products have been sent. But until now I haven't got anyone. Joan Lucas, Could you tell me how to report them to the local police, the FBI internet crimes? Thank you! |

| The same thing happened to me. I was told the site was down and to send a money order. Call me gullible cuz i did. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. The BBB sent me a report,and apparently they were unable to contact them. I guess i lost my 36 dollars. |

| Omg! that person ripped me off too 77$ i filed with everyone i could and nothing has happened except paypal told me i was right i paid and didnt get my money, thanks paypal! anyway i dont know if the rest of oyu are interested but i know someone that got scammed on ebay. She found out that thier was a group of people like us that all got scammed by the same person. All of them called this persons police department and filed mail fraud with the post office. The police went to thier house and htey got thier money back. Someimtes it works better in numbers. If we all file witht he post office for mail fraud and then all call the police department in thier area on the same day or i guess within 24 hours of each other they may do something and we may get our money back. Want to do it? |

Hi All-
I was wondering where to buy stuff wholesale for my sight and came across this. Having been through an internet scam in the past where I lost around $1500, I want you all to learn from my stupidity. . . There are a few places you need to file a report with: (note: to this date I have only received $175 since the guy stole over $20,000 and they are still trying to get him).
1. If it happened on the internet, go to http://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp which was set up by the FBI to report this stuff.
2. Web-police.org is supposed to connect law enforcement all over the world -- I didn't use this, I only found out about it recently. . .
3. If you sent payment via US Post Office, file a report with them (this makes it a federal offense and is a worse crime when it finally gets to court) http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/
4. The Internet Fraud Watch (http://www.fraud.org) works with the FTC to keep a database to help law enforcement track people down. I can't remember if I tried here or the online BBB, but one of them couldn't do anything for me since the guy who scammed was not a member of the BBB.
I hope this helps you all. . .I know it's a hassle and it feels like a waste of time since there is no guarantee of getting your money back, but it's a start.

| Hey all! I had an interest in selling burt's bees and it was as easy as calling their main office and getting their wholesale info deparment. Everyone there is really nice and helpful and the info packet, which arrives in one week, has all the details, pricing, documents, and anything and everything else that you would need to become a distributor. I don't know if I'm allowed to do this, but the number is 1-800-849-7112. |
