This message board is NOT the place to look! Most all you will find here are back yard breeders that do NOT have the best interests of the breed at heart NOR do they have the interests of the puppies or buyers at heart. They are only thinking about the $$$ involved.
Join www.rottweiler.net and find out a lot of very good information on our breed. When looking for a breeder, you can go to AKC dog shows to watch the breed and ask people about expected litters, etc. You can call ARC (American Rottweiler Club) information and they will refer you to breeders in your area.
Do not purchase off this list, do not purchase out of your local newspaper!

No, don't look at puppyfind.com - that's a bad site. Go to:
Petfinder.org and find a wonderful puppy there. I'm sure you'll find one.
Also, make sure you check out my thread on Rottweiler Rescue Groups, who often have puppies available.

NON-FOR-PROFIT rescue groups will work with you to find you the perfect dog, perhaps even an 'older' puppy of around a year old. A Rottweiler isn't an adult dog until around age 3 years or so, so a 'puppy' is a dog who's under 2 years of age.
Please follow those links and check out what's available from reputable non-for-profit organizations who only want to help the Rottweiler breed.
