Watts 210 Gas Shut Off Valve.
I would like to know more about the Watts 210 valve.
1. How it is to be installled.
2. Where the pressure discharge terminatin point is.
3. Who makes this device.
4. Where can I read about them
I am finding that california home inspectors are not o up to speed on tis device. |

| No discharge for this device. In the case of watts 210. Watts is the maker of this device. When their is no possible way to use a standard t&p (temperature and pressure) You run the gas to the watts 210 then back to the gas on the water heater. If excessive pressure or heat is built up the watts 210 turns off the gas to the water heater, shutting the water heater down lets the pressure, or heat drop. This is to be used if there is no other possible routing for the standard t&p. The standard t&p should either go directly outside or discharged into a pan (smitty pan) if a horizontal run is necessary 1/4 inch per foot grade is required .. The termination outside the house 6" above grade is the maximum. |
